I really think that many negatives on youtube come from people who don't have opposable thumbs. Or, they think that by clicking on the downward thumb that they are getting rid of a negative. Really. That bad. If youtube let you change your thumbs up or down after, I think it wouldn't look the way it does.

His playing is always amazing but the tone of his guitar and playing here is far from its sweet best. Sounds a bit out of tune and lacks the "purr" of his Gibson Es-175, a bit tinny here.

I don't understand how can some people be such fools criticizing such a wonderful performance. Joe Pass is a guitar genius and a brilliant musician. Period. The fact that he makes mistakes and misses some notes reminds us that he is human and not some kind of robot. Making mistakes is HUMAN and it's easier to make them playing in this context and at this tempo.
