Nobody has a chance to race with him. He started to play as little boy, born in New York. His father has music center shop with professional guitars. He was taught by professional musicians. Golden boy of blues.I began to play when I was fourteen years old and I was self-taught. There was no one who could show me a few tones and skills. Currently I play professionally, I think I'm good, but I never had a chance to compete with someone like him. Life does not give us the same opportunities.

You've got to look at it logically, When someone like Joe comes out of the curtain there is major activity on the ladder of greats, and for me....well, there's only MAYBE one or two above him, thinking along the lines of Vai&co.. I mean listen to the songs he's coming out with i heard a song last week called 'Blue & Evil' and i shit you not it's the best Led Zeppelin song i've ever heard... And it's not even fucking Led Zeppelin.. This guy is A *GENIUS* it's logical thinking.

Some people were born to play the blues and Joe is one of those people. He's got the kind of chops that when I hear them played,I say that's Bonamassa. All musicians are anchored by those who have preceeded them. There are only twelve notes in the western scale of music,I think he does quite well with those twelve.

What album did SRV release in 1978. I thought Texas Flood was his first album which was released in June 1983?
