One of the best performances of the night. This was the second of a two-show stint at the Beacon. I'd never heard of Beth until Joe did the recent album "Don't Explain" with her. Well, after this performance, I bought the album. What pipes she has and she makes a great match with Joe's chops. Luckily, this show was filmed for DVD!!!

@judaspriestshrine Thanks ! I've just 'discovered' Joe B. and Beth H. so I don't know much about them. She sounds asJanis Joplin would have sounded if she hadn't been pissed most of the time. They are brilliant, always so happy to hear blues singers who are not reaching retirement age.12 years ago
