I think I posted something similar on "Love is Just a Four Letter Word" but Boot of Spanish Leather is even a better case in point. Folks primarily think of Joan and her "Achingly pure soprano---but not for nothing---listen to her resonate low range in this Bob Dylan tune. She's hitting those notes fully open and resonate---She makes an substantial IMPACT in that near contralto register where many singers could barely hit those as muddy chest notes.

Thank you very much for bringing back wonderful memories. I used to have this LP and would play this song over and over and over. I have to feel sorry for kids today. Utterly unexposed to this kind of outstanding music. Parent and grandparents, please do them a favor and share this with someone young.
