Its really sad how people pick on Page here. Personally I think he did a fine job considering what he been through. Plus I think his playing here is a lot cleaner than some if not most of his Zep live stuff.

Interesting how Page still sounds like Page even playing the house guitar and probably inebriated. Funny how he manages to sneak in many of his Zep licks even when jamming with a jazz band.

you have obviously never hears any live zep. your comment is exactly like saying miles davis cant improvise. it is a ludicrous statement

1) he had just kicked a 10-year heroine habit. 2) he didnt touch his guitar for 2 years in the early 80's 3) This is spontaneous at a club where he's probably already drunk. 3) anyone who thinks page cant improvise is an idiot. he made a career of it live.

if youre basing youre opinion of pagey on this jam which is totally spontaneous about 2 years after he quit heroine and hadnt been playing guitar for two years then thats all I need to say..

So basically what you're saying is if someone uses incorrect grammar they don't know anything, correct? With that being said I guess you don't use much, either. You're punctuation is terrible...

I read in an interview that he could never get into jazz. You should try listening to some live zeppelin. A lot of it is pure improvisation. You should also understand that this was '85. He was pretty fucked up.
