I like this version of this song better than Guy Clarks. His is good too, I think it's the background music that makes this version a smoother version. Plus, I like Alan 's voice. Mr Buffet.... Not so much. But together, they sound really smooth. Jim, your getting older. Time to come back to church. Start thinking like maybe those nuns, were trying to tell you something. You can't blame them now. Trouble with the kids of the 60s, is that you left the church, and never really figured out what it was all about. .

The original, by Guy Clark, is much better. It's far more real. While I appreciate that JB and AJ tribute the song by covering it, when you listen to Guy Clark's version, you can really feel the meaning of the song.
