In the shuffling madnessOf the locomotive breath,Runs the all, time loser,Headlong to his death. He feels the piston scrapingSteam breaking on his browOld Charlie stole the handle andThe train it won't stop goingNo way to slow down.He sees his children jumping offAt the stations one by one.His woman and his best friendIn bed and having fun. He's crawling down the corridorOn his hands and kneesOld Charlie stole the handle andThe train it won't stop goingNo way to slow down.He hears the silence howlingCatches angels as they fall. And the all-time winnerHas got him by the balls. He picks up Gideons BibleOpen at page oneGod He stole the handle andThe train won't stop goingNo way to slow down.No way to slow down.No way to slow down.No way to slow down.No way to slow down.No way to slow down.No way to slow down.No way to slow down.No way to slow down.

Haha through this music I came to know Dark Souls haha. (Very poor game trailer BTW even featuring such good music... and it started out good, too!)

CB: "Iconic in it's timelessness..." is not only an utterly meaningless remark, it's ungrammatical.

I love listening to Tool and also love reading all the idiot Tool fans comments trying to decipher the lyrics of their songs. If they want Something to decipher, they should give Jethro Tull a crack. These guys are the kings of multiple meaning lyrics and writing in code. Nothing against Tool. I love them but if you really want to be mind fucked, Jethro Tull. All day.

Once heard a metal band cover this song but speeded up about twice as fast. Drummer was a double bass monster.
