If you look at Carries albums Hillary has written over half of the songs on Carrie's albums. Hillary writes them and Carrie sings them. They are good that way. Hillary will never have the voice Carrie has but Hillary can write some awesome music.

I'm from the same small GA town that she is. She was a local star as a kid dazzling people in school, talent shows,etc. Went straight to Nashville after HS (to Belmont College ?) and made it big. Very talented and bold young lady. And she really taps into her deep small town Ga roots.

i love the performance of this song. Hillary is an amazing songwriter. she did such amazing stuff with michelle branch's never released album "everything comes and goes" its a shame it won't be released but Hillary helped michelle out so much and did a great job. i actually have a cd of hillary's demos before she sent them out to artists. i love it. she has a great voice.

she right here proves, it doesnt matter where you come from, no matter how small, if you follow your dreams you can really make it. you just dont know how inspiring it is to see her, someone who grew up in the exact same town im growing up in now.. :)
