I first heard this after I purchased the Bear Family Sun Records box set. It changed my opinion of Jerry Lee Lewis and made me realize just how great he was. Same thing for the excellent instrumentals he recorded for Sun which are also in the same box set. I think Jerry got typecast after Whole Lotta Shaking became a huge hit and he was under pressure to keep making that type of record over and over again, but he was capable of so much more as this recording demonstrates.
