I love this some either way. I dont think this song is about waterville being a bad town or whatever people are saying. it is pretty much stating that u need to believe in yourself to get some where in life. And believe it or not al ot of people struggle in waterville and alot are homeless. But it is like that every where. It based in waterville because that where his struggle was.. soo stop judging. if you cant handle the truth behind his words then dont listen to his music.

And adding onto that... Im a 14 year old and when I was 12, my mom told him how much I love him and how much of an influance he is and he invited us over and he told me all about his childhood and how tough it was. He listened to me when I vented about my dad and how much of a douche he is and he agreed all the way and even let me listen to his song he was recording and let me sing in his home studio like in the video "winning". Hes a major role model and I will always look up to him in life <3

Jeremy isnt saying Waterville is tough you idiot. He's saying his life was. I've known Jeremy for years and he did have a hard life. But this song isnt even complaining it's pointing out that when life gets tough you have to believe in yourself. Its a great song & a great message. No matter how much you hate the kid you can't deny his music is fucking sick. So stop being a hater. Everybody says Jeremy is an asshole in person. I don't blame him. Maine has so many haters how can you help it?
