I saw her perform at a theater in Portland, Oregon a few years ago. After the show, she was so gracious and generous with her time for us fans. She autographed an old LP from the early 70's for me, remarking that it was hard to find copies of it any more, even on eBay. She took the time to write "5-9-09 With Passionate Memories, Jennifer Warnes". Her performance of "Song of Bernadette" always transfixes me, one of the most beautiful songs I have run across, ever. She has the voice of an angel, but she is also a very intelligent singer who understands music and phrasing, and has worked with many of the best musicians over the last 40 years.
