Eternity is an ever-expanding abyss, and through the years of divine right I have learned this; there is no reward for walking all alone. Hallelujah is considered to mean praise God ( which is completely correct). However, if viewed from a Vedic perspective the true importance of this direction comes to light.In the Vedas it is discussed in far greater detail, the importance of calling ON the name of the Lord. Meaning the name itself is the important part of hallelujah. In Vedanta we say Haribol. This means "Chant Hari", Hari is one of God unlimited names.So Hallelujah is saying "(vocally) praise Jah" YHWH. See God being absolute means every aspect of Himself is complete, absolute. So Gods Names are non different to Him. You can't have God being one thing and His name a lesser aspect of Himself, this is not absolute. So the Vedas ( and all other major scripture since) teach that Calling out the Name of the Lord is to be in His direct Asssosiation with Him. This is why Hare Krsnas chant Gods name on the streets:) So they give people direct association with the Supreme Personality of Godhead, through the transcendental sound vibration of the Maha Mantra ( which is an incarnation of Krsna in sound vibration). Irregardless of believe, creed or species even, anyone embodied Soul that comes in contact with the Holy Names are purified by being in Gods direct association.Just thought I'd share that:) Hare Krsna, Hallelujah:)
