@perltech That's because the original contains TONS of vocal overdubs and many instruments layered on top. I was trying to figure out how to play it on guitar to make it sound half way like the original and it is impossible unless you have a boatload of singers and especially musicians. Otherwise, all you can do is a bare bones version. Still, this version sounds pretty good to my musician's ears. Remember, most youtube concert clips are recorded with cellphone cameras from far away, too.

@erock8469 Yeah well, after 30 years, I'd like to think that they could at least perform to some reasonable level of reproduction... to a song that I loved in my teenage years. But they can't. Go listen to an original, and then compare it to this, there is no comparison. Sorry I know this probably won't sit well with a lot of folks but I'm disappointed. If they were to release this video/audio, as a new track back in the 70's, it would have fallen flat.
