Title track from their 1979 album of the same name. That's Aynsley Dunbar fresh from his stint with Journey on the drums.

One long pull to the top of the mountain, one long pull and we're into the sky. I'll be a great wind sweeping through a valley at the first light of the rising moon. To the seas and beyond the sky. Don't look back, hold steady keep your eyes open, your eyeballs ready. (my change from 20 years at sea) Dam, lyrics suck today.

One of their best but least known. Grace never impressed me. I wore this song out on the juke box at Doc's Pizza on Ocean View Ave, Norfolk, Va. Like a great wind sweeping through a valley at the first light of the rising moon. Jammin Dude.

No matter what I may think of Katner personally or politically, he put together one hell of an arena rock band. Commercial. The anarchist goes capitalist. And his voice. He could do metal.

Could very well be the meaning of the song. I've never really given it much thought. All I know is, its one kick ass song.

cont'd from previous comment -- "Now theoretically and mathematically proven, the question no longer is: “does this zero point energy exist?” but rather, can we tap this inexhaustible resource of free and unlimited energy and manifest new technologies which are both inexpensive and environmentally safe." ~~ from the documentary 'Free Energy: The Race to Zero Point'

"We live in a vast sea of energy. Everything, every atom, every subatomic particle is in constant motion, spinning eternally. Even in the cold, dark absolute vacuum of empty space, there exists what new physics is calling the quantum vacuum flux; it is the ether of the ancients, the life force energy of metaphysics; are the random fluctuations of this vast field of potential in which space and time are embedded."

Is this song about 'zero-point free energy' in some way? I always wondered what they meant by Freedom at Point Zero. ...Under every stone -- on every beach Through every forest and all the trees In all the air For all time and all space In every land and every place In the seas and beyond the sky ... ...Right there for you and I Up in the sky Just got to reach out and take it

continued from above... "Ride the Tiger" and "Miracles". I'm not going anywhere near "We built this city". What the F**K were they thinking? Thoughts?

According to the liner notes of the CD she quit the band (or at least to took a self-imposed hiatus) because of all the "Cock Bitchery" going on. Cock Bitchery? Her own words and it sounds just like her being as out spoken and foul mouthed as she is. Personally I liked this album best of the "Jefferson Starship" years. Don't get me wrong I love her contributions to the band, particularly "White Rabbit" and "Somebody to Love" and later during the 1970's her backing vocals on (continued)

Grace Slick was my favorite...she was probably in rehab for this album. Marty Balin had left the band prior to this.
