Must have been a solo thing. Could be wrong but im pretty sure after 1999 they sorta split and had a few tours but its been mostly jeff doing his own thing the past while. Saw him last july in vancouver, looked a lot different then what i thought him to be. None the less a cool experience

Chris Knox penned the tune, its off a tribute album titled STROKE: Songs for Chris Knox. It is an awesome two cd set with bob moss, yo la tengo, mountain goats, etc all doing chris knox & tall dwarfs songs.
