In 9 days I will have 8 months of sobriety. I thank God for blessing me with A wife who gave me a second chance. I did horrible things to get high some very violent. I finally got help when my dealer quit selling to me because she said she could see me getting high and killing my family. That woke me up! I hope that other people don't need such a drastic wake-up call. For people with family or friends dealing with meth addiction only 12% of people who enter treatment stay clean the first time. Don't give up it is the hardest thing I have ever been through.

Much respect for Jeff Bates and asking for forgiveness. That's a man with honor and experience. For everyone else struggling, keep on and don't give up. I believe anyone can make it out and do not ever give up. Everyone deserves a second chance when they trying to better themselves. I was there and I know what it was like. So I want to let everyone know, you guys are not alone. Just be strong and ask the lord for forgiveness.
