Saw him open for the Black Keys. Had no idea who he was before the show. Man, they just plowed through their songs really fast with no breaks and it was a lot more "angsty" than most of the recordings. I like the melodic side and the Ramones-paced garage punk they played live. I paid to see the Black Keys, because I was heavily inspired by Dan Auerbach's guitar-playing, but I think I found someone better as an unknown mentor that night. He's giving angels bloody noses now.
