Season 8 was just phenomenal and full of talented singers. No one in top 13 didn't deserve it. If someone said Jasmine is better than most of the others, i dont think so. They are good in the other way.Season 8, 7, 10, and 11 were amazing and they are the best till now i think. Some of them should be the winner of this season i think. Season 13 (2014) are totally the worst and the bad one. Alex and Jenna the only two who deserve to be on top 13.I love american idol thats why i said it. To be honest, The voice 2014 much better than American Idol 2014. I hope, next year wont be same. Cheers

Also, Jessica Sanchez's version of "I'll Be There" is better than this version. If Jasmine Murray made the top 11 in season 8, she would have sung "I Will Always Love You", which Jessica Sanchez was known to have sung in season 11's top 13 round.

Jasmine Murray is the most underrated American Idol finalist ever. I was extremely upset that she got eliminated. She did not deserved to be the first finalist to be eliminated. With the exception of Adam Lambert and Allison Iraheta, she is better than the rest of season 8's top 13, especially Michael Sarver, Megan Joy, Scott MacIntyre, and Kris Allen. She was my all-time favorite American Idol contestant until season 11, when Jessica Sanchez came along.

I think she should be on The Voice season 6 or 7 or The X Factor season 4. If she lands on The Voice, she should garner a four-chair turn in the blind auditions to ensure that she makes it to the live playoffs.

The real top 10 of season 8 are (alphabetically by last name): Kris Allen, Anoop Desai, Matt Giraud, Danny Gokey, Alexis Grace, Allison Iraheta, Adam Lambert, Scott MacIntrye, Jasmine Murray, and Lil Rounds. Michael Sarver and Megan Joy do not belong in the top 10.

There is a new song by Jasmine Murray you may be interested in, and that is "Make Believe." It is posted on ReverbNation website.

Jasmine Murray was checkmated upon making the top 13. That means that she was guaranteed elimination. Even if she got the Joshua Ledet treatment, she would still be eliminated by a significant margin from the next lowest vote getter.

Word...the judges screwed up big time by choosing Megan and Anoop to advance to the top 13 to start with...the 4 wildcards should've been Jasmine, Matt, Jesse, and Ricky ♥♥

Jasmine Murray's elimination was more of a joke than Jorge Núñez's elimination. Jasmine was eliminated based only on likability, and Jorge was eliminated based on talent and performance. Michael Sarver, Megan Joy, and Anoop Desai were sympathy voted to the top 11, and they all are vocally inferior to Jasmine.

I suggest that Jasmine Murray should audition for The X Factor in order to get a second chance to impress America, showing her true talent. I think she will do better on that show than she did on American Idol.

@BlondieSingsTheBlues If Jasmine Murray were on American Idol at an age older than she was, she would have had a great chance of winning the show if America votes the fair way. She has more potential than most of the rest of the top 13. She was not ready at the time of season 8. I think she should audition for The Voice or X Factor and reveal her true talent.

@BlondieSingsTheBlues Jasmine Murray was not overshadowed based on talent. She was overshadowed based solely on popularity and experience. She was not ready for the competition at the time. Had she waited until season 10, she would have made it nearly as far as my season 10 favorite Jacob Lusk. She deserved to be in the competition more than the likes of Michael Sarver, Megan Joy, Scott MacIntyre, Lil Rounds, and Anoop Desai.

jasmine is good and should have made it further. she didn't originally make the top because of poor song choice in the top 36 ("love song"-sara bareilles, wasn't great) and allison, kris and adam were chosen from her group. she then got picked as a wild card into the top 13. i think her problem was that she was overshadowed by the other singers from that season that were better, thus more popular. but this is great, maybe a little too much mariah, not enough mj, but she did make it her own!

@manny19971 Yes, I fell in love with her (in the terms as defined by the judges; I do not believe in romantic love) since her extremely tearful ouster. She is my all-time favorite. I was so shocked about her ouster so much, that I skipped work the day after the results show. Although she has no clear downfall, she was never a crowd favorite despite her extraordinary talent and potential. She cried heavy, inconsolable tears so much that she needed lots of hugs and an exit dinner.
