Never Released - late 60's heavy rock from the notorious London singer / madam Janie Jones! Who had a mini hit in the mid 60's with 'Witches Brew' ..Her career was brought up to date in the late 60's by her husband John Christian Dee, who wrote the song and had originally recorded a version of this song when he was in the German group 'Adam & Eve' and can be heard on their 'Paradise of Sounds' L.P as 'The Witch'. Dee was a well known song writer and was most famous for his Pretty Things songs and producing The Bulldog Breed single 'Halo in My Hair' and their L.P 'Made In England' (it is highly likely that they are the musicians on this song). Janie recalls recording backing vocals on their song 'Austin Osmanspare' on her website.

She was eventually sent to prison in 1973 for 7 years for 'providing' girls to pop stars at her famous house 'parties' ...........in prison she befriended Myra Hindley...had a song written by her by The Clash....got released....protested Myra Hindley's innocence..then her guilt...joined ex members of The Clash and The Blockheads to record 'House of The Ju-Ju Queen' as Janie Jones & The Lash before finally turning up more recently with Babyshambles in their video for their cover of 'Janie Jones'!!

The Band "Asgard' ( Spelt 'Asgeard' Threshold Records ) were the session band on this record. I played the fiddle parts using a Wha Wha pedal, It was a very strange day !!

Indeed this is one killer groundbreaker in its era. It could have easily slipped onto Plus' "The Seven Deadly Sins" LP on Probe
