A great testament to the superhuman talent of this extraordinary man, his performance is now enshrined in movie history forever and everyone who sees it knows this was something very special. To me personally I believe some of his best work was in the animated film "Robots", every line he says is pure brilliance, and it is easy to tell that they just turned on the microphone and let him go. Whenever I saw him perform it was like listening to a great Jazz musician play , he really came alive in those moments where is brilliant mind would spit fire into his comedy, the other artists sharing the same space around him must have looked on in wonder, I recently heard Eric Clapton talking about the first time he heard Jimmy Hendrix play live, The band Cream allowed him onstage to play and later Clapton said he was astounded, one of the other members said "I told you he was good" and Clapton said "yer, but not THAT good" lol. Bless you Robin, when I heard the news I was completely thunderstruck and saddened but strangely not that surprised, as a fellow depression sufferer I believe could see it in you.You are dearly missed

Sad loss of two great talents----James Brown and Robin. Robin was recognized early for his talent and often celebrated for his crazy, zany comic genius and even won an Oscar (after receiving several Oscar nods) playing a dramatic role in "Good Will Hunting". In contrast, James Brown never got the full recognition he deserved. He didn't win his first Grammy until 1986 (almost 30 yrs after he got his first start) for "Living in America", a paltry tune compared to his landmark hits "Papa's Got A Brand New Bag" "It's a Man's Man's World". James was performing until the very end of his life, not even recognizing he had pneumonia the day before he died.
