I agree, they should have changed the band's name after Katie's departure. Now if I say I like Jakalope, people assume I mean the new Jakalope, which is completely different. The new singer is alright, but she's not for this kind of style which I miss :/ I still think Katie was better doing rock, but I wish her success in country (I think that's what she's doing now, right?).

For me that is simple there is no Jakalope without Katie, so since Katie have left Jakalope i've stopped to follow Jakalope and their new singer. I rather still follow Katie instead, her voice and music are still awesome.

@Dangaard10 True to a point, but no one knows Katie "Rox" unless they are Jakalopers. Katie should have stayed with Jakalope and did her personal music on the side like the lead singer of Slipknot does (also the singer for Stone Sour). At least that way, the band would have gotten more public attention which would have been good for Katie's personal albums.

I miss Katie B as the lead singer of Jakalope. It seemed like a nice juxtaposition between her and Dave Ogilvie, as she appeared light and wholesome and fun to corrupt in the videos, while Dave was backing her with a harder and dark beat behind her vocals. But, I am open to change I guess...I'm just sayin'.

I miss Katie I felt like her voice just really suited and fit with jakalope but her new solo career is very fitted at well i am just not fond of the new singer Chrystal which is unfortunate because I really did want to like her.

@GwendolynRaine considering she was a farm girl growing up, it actually suits her to move to a more country sound. I may prefer her in Jakalope, but I don't think her choice of where her music went is wrong.
