I've looked and listened to Marc Almond. Sounds good. Brel is definitely not comparable, much more intense, dramatic and funny at the same time. Creativity, sensitivity, desperation and energy, that's Brel. I Imagine you must speak and understand french a little to feel the real difference.

@WaveformGraphics....ha ha, very funny indeed, how can you possibly say something like that. Marc Almond has a magnificent voice but mate, when it comes to expressing the song, Brel was something else. And the original was written by himself and was in French.
