To Monscent: Yes, this rendition/cover is pretty low key, most people will associate this song with Johnny Cash and his wife, June Carter Cash! But let's put this cover in its right perspective, otherwise, Mr/Ms Monscent, you are comparing apples and oranges! Johnny Cash' version was from a single cd, with all the embellishments a studio recording provides; Willie and Sheryl's version here is no doubt one song out of several sung before in a concert setting! I dont get all the praise, I like these artists and they are usually very good... However, this version has close to zero energy and doesnt bring anything new compared to the original (IMO either a cover should recreate the feeling of the original somehow, or bring something new making it interesting somehow..). I thought this was a pretty weak performance.
