His lack of recognition is I believe due to his record companies lack of interest in anything but using him to make hits. And the time he was at the top of his game. There wasnt space for two solo singing gods. Elvis had the monopoly. But to Elvis's credit he recognised Jackies incredible talent and they were good friends.

The A-Side is "Baby Workout". Jackie always gave fans a great "B" Side, unlike so many artists back in the day. As popular as he is today and as appreciated as he is today, I still believe he is underrated. He should be a superstar legend with the likes of Elvis and Michael Jackson. I must be missing something why this isn't so.

@kennyrocksable The way he took this song and manipulated it, it never should have been a B-Side on anything. Lots of dumb kids back then never played B-sides! It's even a slight throwback to his very early 60s songs. God I love this man's voice!!!!!! Glad you found it!
