I know you posted this months ago, but do you know which version is being sung in Father Ted (I am fairly certain it wasn't Frank Kelly singing it, though that would be cool). This is the closest vocally so far I've heard, but the instrumental is too heavy.

I had a dream about my late mom and this song was also in the dream. I woke profoundly sad and had the song in my head for the rest of that day. I feel its a song about longing and bitter-sweet memories. I just had to listen to it and feel better for doing so. Many thanks for uploading this particularly good version.

@hataitipgroth I know what software you can download videos from youtube. It's called orbit downloader and it's free. You just download orbit online. You download videos while they're playing with that software. And it's not just for youtube. You can use for downloading videos from many websites. Once youve' downloaded the song from oribit downloader you can convert an/ or cut videos with the emicsoft video converter to burn to cd.
