Great song! There is nothing harder particularly in the hard rock/metal genre than for a musician to replace the famous guy. Their ability is not the issue they just are not the famous guy. The criticisms of Blaze are really criticisms of the entire band for they chose him at the time. 9 years ago

Say what you want about this album and Blaze but it was a welcome change of direction at a time when the band were becoming dated. It was never gonna live up to the 'Golden Age' of Maiden but let's be honest, the NPFTD and FOTD era, while good albums in their own right, was gonna get boring very quickly. I think the band produced something very interesting with this album and they bloody well earned the right to experiment. Also, this album pisses all over Load and Re-Load.9 years ago

this is maidens "dark period" and it still beats the fuck outta most bands in their prime xD. On a more serious note, true maiden fans wouldnt bash bailey cos he aint bruce, he's still a great singer, and brings a different spin to maiden, which makes a nice change from their normal stuff, this song is a prime example9 years ago

I'm a Dickinson's fan but I consider this album to be one of the best albums of Maiden. Bayley is a very good singer and his voice fitted perfectly in this kind of songs. X Factor is different, dark, melodic. It's a pitty he has a short career in Maiden. At least we can be proud to have two great singer in a single band. Long life to Iron Maiden!10 years ago
