Introducing my new Jackson Adrian Smith SDX. I've been wanting a Charvel or San Dimas for ages, little bit scepticle of these as they are really cheap. I paid $440+shipping from themusicfarm. The guitar is awesome, the neck is really clean and well finished and it doesn't feel cheap at all. I've been playing it flat since it turned up and I haven't had to even fine tune it since I set it up. It's not light or flimsy, actually weighs more than my Dime FBD. The only annoying thing is you need to remove the neck to get to the truss rod. I couldn't believe the Floyd is original, not a licensed.
Anyways I've never tried to learn any Maiden before, but love listening to them and the live shows are fantastic. I was at a record shop years ago looking for something other than Megadeth, Slayer or Metallica and I asked this fella in a flannel, tight jeans and long greasy hair who was skimming through Iron Maiden which album is the best. He looked all confused and said "Mate, they're all fucken good, but try this one." and handed me Somewhere in Time.
Hope you like it, it was really fun to learn.
