I think this record and their last one are the some of the best sounding rock/metal records I've ever heard, so if this is a "throw back" then more bands should be doing it haha.11 years ago

i prefer this over the old stuff, but im also a huge mastadon, tool fan so thats probably why. plus the jazz influence on this album is huge. just my opinion though and it doesnt matter11 years ago

Honestly I see where you are coming from but I wouldn't say a band who changes to a different style of writing is not bad. They still have the most awesome musicianship in metal. The band as a whole is what counts.11 years ago

They lost all their balls, the tonality is completely different. After prehistoricisms intronaut lost it. Seriously sucks, honestly listen to null and void and tell me their balls didnt shrivel up. I'd say I'm sorry but, I'm not I am disappointed. To think I wasted a doobie on them at their mastadon show in michigan. I understand there is change to music but, jesus their a different band entirely. For instance, meshuggah,every album is different but genuinely different...not a different band..Videos Relacionados
