Still gives me chills after 20 years. I first saw Snapcase in 1994 and will never forget it. They absolutely tore it up.

Get of your high horse Tex...Who cares whether its 'your' generation or not.I wasn't even alive when The Doors were around, does that mean I shouldn't appreciate their music and embrace the scene.Good on you Paul!

Snapcase were one of the first hardcore bands I saw live. I didn't really watch them onstage as I was watching the "pit" and thinking "FUCK ME!"

damn I remember seeing Snapcase with Shai Hulud and Hot Water Music in 96...that was one of the best shows ever.

1990-2000 was THE greatest decade of all time for anyone to be a teenager, and even better for the fortunate few of us who knew hardcore music. sXe

@gnarsmoke Lived it. Had a ball. And the music still stands because it was great music. There were a lot of bands that really rocked the scene..keep poking around and finding them, even more audio awesomeness to be enjoyed. :)

@Sam5LC I think this song is about the 'social discount rate'

I lived those days. I don't miss them. The music is epic, and so are the memories. It was an unbelievable time, but thinking about it makes me want to set up a table at shows with radical pamphlets about going to college and peaceful democratic resistance.
