Love how the drummer steals the Opethian 6/4 clave at segments, much like Be'lakor's drummer does as well.. Lopez seems to be rubbing of on allot of young drummers. Can only help :P

Yeah it sounds a little like Opeth, at least to me. Specially the singer's voice (not the clean vocals ) hehe but it's awesome. Opeth is my nº 1 band and it's cool to see a little bit of them in this band. Cheers everyone.

I fail to see the Opeth comparison at all. The songwriting is of two different styles. In Mourning use 3 guitars, one to achieve a bottom, and a harmonized middle and top. Their melodies revolve around these harmonies. Opeth uses a more traditional guitar style, along with their dynamic changes between loud and soft, which these guys also do not do as prevalantly.
