Morning people,

I always played this song the wrong way.

The I saw the learning videos of Björn and Jesper

on Metalkult.

http://blogs.guitarworld.com/metalkult/videos/inflames/

So this is the live version like IF plays it.

But I changed the prechorus. I like my way better.

Intro:

A part of In Flames Metaphor I recorded

with the acoustic guitar.

Description:

I first record the audio of the song,

then film me playing the guitars and edit them together.

Amp: Randall G3 R150 with Marshall JCM 900 Cab

Recording with: Neumann TLM103 on Avalon VT 737 Preamp

and Shure SM7 on Focusrite Isa 828 Preamp.

RME 9652 Card in PC.

Recording Software: Steinberg Cubase 4

I either play on Drop D or standard or Drop B, but my guitar is not the heavy metal type. Can anyone tell me a great guitar for metal songs??? Plz cause my guitar feels like soft, except for solos. I have a black Granite, it broke four times in tree years, WTF!?

I know the comment wasn't directed at me but I play in drop A# sometimes I currently use 12 Gauge strings and I have a ESP LTD EC-1000 deluxe which is pretty damn the same thing as the prophecy c: When I play in drop A# with the 12 gauge strings they seem a bit loose but still sound good :D if you want tighter strings I recommend size 13 gauge strings

hey I have the same epiphone les paul prophecy, I want to play these low tunings like drop A# for in flames. What strings and guage do you use? and also did you have to file the nut on the guitar first?

this guy wants the backing track without guitars. the audio from the video is free of course because he wants to show us the cover and people can easily download it by using a youtube converter.

Why the sudden change man? For years your stuff has been free and People like me and my friends have always been big fans and have always loved using your covers for vocal covers.

No, I am just not giving away something that I worked on for several hours. What song it is, doesn't matter. I am not giving it away for free and no one wants to pay for it anyway.

so you're making money on selling material that doesn't belong to you?
