This is the earliest recording of the song that would later be known as "The Taste of Regret" by In Fear and Faith. This song was recorded back in the Myspace days of the band (2006) when Jarred DeArmas fronted the group providing both clean and unclean vocals at 17 years old. It was also when the band incorporated synth player Michael Guy.

The track was also known as "Boobies" as a working title before the name was changed for its final version.

Lyrics:

I swear to you, I swear right now, I never lied about the thing's I'll do.

Cause when I'm gone you'll be here all alone.

I'll rip it out, rewrite these pages over.

This is the script to everything you're not.

So why are you so afraid?

Save your last breath, because it's better off in your lungs.

You're almost gone, are you feeling alone?

No one's around to hear you scream.

I'll pick this up right where we left off.

And I'd say I'm sorry but that would be a lie.

And this could be the last time.

The last time we'll be here

So just be still this time

And everything will be fine

I swear to you, I swear right now, I never lied about the thing's I'll do.

Cause when I'm gone you'll be here all alone.

No turning back like blood running through my veins.

Waiting for the words of panic to turn me inside out, to stop my breathe, because it's better off in my lungs.

You're almost gone, are you feeling alone?

No one's around to hear you scream.

I'll pick this up right where we left off. And I'd say I'm sorry but that would be a lie.

And this could be the last time.

(can't understand this scream)

So just be still this time.

And everything will be fine.
