Here's a bit of history about Ichiban no Takaramono: Some of you may remember, when I created this account (tehishter) after youtube removed my main account (theishter), I held /a/ request threads and Ichiban no Takaramono was one of the songs most requested, but I failed miserably to do the song justice for piano solo, so I dropped it.

Now, being inspired by Animenz's My Soul, your Beats arrangement and xclassicalcatx's helping hand, I think I may now be satisfied with uploading a video that is worthy of the original song.

I would like to dedicate this performance to two pianists.

First to Animenz, for being a bro and fellow transcriber. He was the main reason why I'm transcribing sheet music now. And because of our friendly rivalry, I've been more motivated to transcribe my arrangements and improve my technique. Thank you Animenz, and I hope you have a speedy recovery! Let's do our best this spring season~

Second to Verdegrand. When I still had my original youtube account (theishter), Verdegrand was the person I looked up to. We would constantly talk on YouTube with long private messages, 5 paragraphs long just talking about music. He was my mentor who gave me advice when I had trouble with piano playing, and he supported me when I lost my main youtube account.

Sadly, his message replies were getting farther and farther apart before he disappeared from youtube. Since it's most likely his choice to leave youtube quietly, I can respect that. I just wish I could have said a proper goodbye and thanks for all he has done to help me. So thank you Verdegrand, and I wish you are coping well with your condition.

And lastly, thank you to the viewers. You're the reason why I keep on uploading. Thank you for your likes, and for your comments. I wouldn't be here without you.
