I agree that I see stars still has some good aspects to them. However, they are just too... I'm not sure what the word is. They just don't sound complete and genuine like the FOF. The singer almost always seems to sound separate from the rest of the band because of the crazy strong autotune. I know exactly what you mean by the synth, thats another drawback. I just feel that I See Stars has their moments, however none of their moments amount to the sound that ISMFOF produces.11 years ago

It's not a lie. Each have things they're better at. I See Stars is much better at writing more cohesive, flowing songs. ISMFOF isn't as good at it. ISMFOF makes a much better use of synth, vs I See Stars, where sometimes it sounds like it's just in there to be in there. I See Stars writes much more complex guitar parts, but ISMFOF has better hooks. The vocalists from I See Stars are much better live, but Matt has a much more creative vocal style. Neither is better.
