Thanks to you, Bengt, and to dowopper51 and Capricosm. When this record was first played on the radio here, it was played also on R&B stations. They were surprised to find out that I was not a young, African-American girl. I took that as a great compliment. Numerous others also recorded this song after I did, but the Isley Bros.
