Never saw a proper music video or lip-synch for this song, and that's a shame. I like this performance, though I'd prefer the ballroom dance feel of the original hit version to this Dixieland-flavored version. Hey, I like what I like...

Does anyone else think Hurricane Smith looks like Ron Jeremy, or is it just me? I love this song so much, but that aspect of it creeps me out a little... lol

I thought it was a nice gesture when Hurricane motioned to his sax player at the end when the audience was applauding. He deserved acknowledgement.

Always loved this song. Smith was an understated and underappreciated genius. He lived during the most amazing period of recorded music history, getting to work with the likes of McCartney and Lennon. Nice we have this performance for posterity.

I've always wondered about his raspy, shaking voice; It wasn't just because he was a career drunkard, but that he was English (LOL)This song of his was so much fun at parties!!!

I always thought Hurricane Smith had such a strange and unique set of pipes. I cant say I like his music but its certainly different,

My Mom loved this song. When I was young I always wondered why, it's such a quirky song with a very unusual singing voice. Looking back now it's all about the message of the words. Simple feel good song. The world can use more of these right about now. The voice, the tune, the times all fit together perfect. Lets see you come up with a tune as catchy as this.....given todays standards of music which have really faded.
