I honestly don't get why people think they suck. I listen to a lot of different music, I study music in fact, and I'm always searching for new bands but I'm still fairly selective of what I decide to continue listening to. Sometimes I'll listen to 3 or 4 songs by a band and just move on to the next. Or I'll listen to a band for like a week and then totally forget about them. I've been listening to Hunter Valentine for about a year now, and I love them. They're a basic-sounding sort of rock band, but their music is catchy, has attitude, and I like how it's produced. I actually like its "simplicity", because so much music that supposedly isn't pop is just hipster trash with people trying to sound experimental and creative, when it just sounds random. These girls may follow a certain formula but they make it work and add their own creativity! And they have great stage presence compared to so many indie bands that just purposely do nothing onstage and look awkward. They have something in them that's getting a little bit lost today in the music business today, I find.Also Kiyomi's hot, screw people who think she's unattractive.
