HUM... a great, largely unrecognized band of the 90s. You'd Prefer an Astronaut is one of the very first records I owned so it holds a special place in my heart.Highly recommend streaming You'd Prefer an Astronaut or Downward is Heavenward in full, you won't be disappointed.

Even when already rocking out to the song, I am still occasionally surprised by the acoustic guitar kicking in after the solo. Brilliant new dynamic at that point in the song. This was the first Hum tune I heard and I was hooked. Wish they were still around and touring.
