The local Twin Cities band Howler perform's the unreleased song, "Beach Girls" in the studios of 89.3 The Current. Howler started as a side project by Jordan Gatesmith from Total Babe, but was recently signed to London based Rough Trade Records home of The Smiths, The Strokes, and Belle and Sebastian.

The green one is a ZVex Fuzz Factory which gives his fuzz and squeals and the grey one in the shape of a Boss is a Digitech of some sort... I'm also tempted to say that the red and white pedal next to the Fuzz Factory is some sort of ZVex, can't say for sure though!12 years ago

why don't people start judging bands by their sound and not by their style? I could care less if Howler are a bunch of hipsters or not, their music is good and that's enough for me, when I hear their songs I'm not hearing their style of wearing or their haircuts but their music...13 years ago

@sheepintheherd Minneapolis is the prime hub of hipster. they might been seen as hipster by some people who've never been to Minneapolis- but in reality, they barely register on the hipster scale by our standards.13 years ago
