Truly one of the more interesting throwback bands to appear since the turn of the century. Kinda like a Bruce S. on steroids. Kinda.

It makes me want to smash my wall with my head when I see the drummer "Not giving a fuck" that he is playing anything. I just miss his emotiions in the performance.

Everybody commenting on Chuck's vocal health, understand this. The man is a fucking professional. He knows what he's doing. And it's entirely likely that his voice sounds the way it does DUE to the damage its taken over the early years of his career. He's not straining or pushing any harder than he ever has, most likely less. Listen to the man talk, that's just how he sounds. Nobody panic, Chuck's gonna be doing this for a very long time.

I think it's just the mix, dude. It's not done well. I wouldn't worry. Mr. Ragan will be just fine for a long, long time.

I couldn't stand The New What Next, so I was very wary of this album. While it's not as good as their earlier records, this is easily one of the best songs they've written.

It's sad but true. I fear it may be the same with a lot of singers though, I suspect Dave Grohl for example

I agree woth ya, but there is video where he performs state of grace and his voice is outstanding so maybe he was sick or had some throat issues i really hope he wont loose his extraordinaire voice before i can have a chance to watch him live :/ watch this video /watch?v=2v5RFUeJfAU
