I've always loved this song. I'm just not entirely sure that I quite understand the artistic direction and concept/purpose behind this video. White clothing in full color/ black clothing in full color/ black clothing in black and white/ plus another black and white scene with a business man. The band's instruments are inconsistent in every scene as well. All I can think is that the black and white is meant to symbolize flashbacks and the black clothing vs. white clothing represents the eternal struggle between good and evil within one's self. I can see the representation of dark vs. light but why have a 3rd and 4rth variable in there? -the black and white scenes of the band in black clothing and the black and white businessman scene. I feel like their are way too many variables going on in this video to convey the concept of good vs. evil.
