You are absolutely right...I misspoke. I didn't proof read before I hit post. What I meant to say was that she had a successful album out before they ever met. She was being looked at by several major labels on her on merit and if you listen to Pretty on the Inside there are hints of what you hear on Live Through This. Most musicians collaborate with other musicians and clearly a husband and wife that are both musicians would do the same.11 years ago

Sure thing, they had this pop punk thing in their time but after that...I mean look at the trilogy, no way that's slightly punk. Yeah actually more thank kings I would say the classic punk bands, along with the Ramones. I actually don't have any favourites when it comes to punk. I love 'em all.12 years ago

Green day are mainly considered the kings of punk by people because they started out in a place called 924Gilman if you live in cali its a I could say, "highly respected" punk club in Berkeley. but besides that I agree with you. they are not all "kings of punk" to me either. and sex psitols! they had some good songs but in my opinion they were more of the style or scene.
