Sie selbst erklärte, ihr Wissen durch göttliche Visionen erhalten zu haben. Habe mal vor vielen Jahren ein Buch über ihre naturheilkundliche Medizin gelesen. Diese natürlichen Heilmethoden haben mich glaubwürdig überzeugt. In der evangelischen Kirchen-bibliothek von Neustadt an der Aisch in Deutschland, (Mittelfranken), befinden sich Handschriften von ihr. auch von Paracelsus (Theophrast von Hohenheim) und der Hl. Birgitta von Schweden

Troubadours were writers and singers of secular music. Chant is considered sacred. Hildegard would not have had a true classification, as chant was believed to be directly from God. Truly beautiful and moving music.

Hildegard paid attention to her surroundings and to the tiny details in nature. Perhaps we today can take time to reflect and ponder on the beauty that surrounds us. But unfortunately most of us choose not to pay attention to the wonders of nature and to the people we meet on a daily basis. Without paying attention how can we see the wonder in anything or in anyone. To create such beautiful music and writings Hildegard must have chosen to live in the moment and pay attention.
