I love the song and it brings back many memories. This is the first movie I saw Jack Elam in. I remember the beauty of Grace Kelly. I loved the plot of the movie about a man that was willing to die for his beliefs and would not back down against insurmountable odds. We need more people in this country that feels this way and are willing to stand up and be county. I think this story was about the right kind of pride and willingness to take a stand for justice-justice and the rights of all.

This was the best movie ever, a man was a man and his woman was proud.

I saw this movie when it first came out ( I was only ten) and it made a great impression on me. It's my second favorite western next to 'The Searchers'. I love the song and Duane Eddy is a favorite of mine also.

Duane Eddy has the best version of the song High Noon, next best is Frankie Laines version, and then Tex Ritters version. High Noon is just one of the great songs ever written & composed, todays songs are just all junk, crap, & garbage-NO TALENT WHATSOEVER.

It just goes to show you're never too old to learn something new. Good for you and keep up with the lessons,

thanks for posting this track, I love playing Duane's stuff, I can get pretty close to his sound on my 'strat. with plenty of reverb and a slowish tremelo,
