Weird version. Longer intro. (which I like), but it fades out sooner than the version I'm used to (which I don't like).

These guys weren't just pop stars, they were some seriously good musicians and singers. Great cover of a Cat Stevens song. Look up Cat's original. Very appealing.

Sounds like my life Ron , departed my home town in "71" at 19 and went to "Da Nang". When I came back either I or everyone else change.

1968 was the best year of my young life (I was 21). This recording is the vehicle used by me to travel back to another time & place in my life. Such wonderful memories of the love of my life (Kathy) and all my wonderful friends from Santa Fe High School, Santa Fe Springs, California, Class of 1965. Sadly, I was drafted on February 5, 1969 and by the 19th of June I had stepped off the plane in Vietnam. Nothing, in my young life, from that moment on, was ever the same again.................

Again, I agree with part of what you said but fanaticism runs deep in anything man-made especially religion. But the centuries of multiple Christian Crusades, Inquisition killers and torturers till the time of Lincoln along with Witch-hunt burnings and the attempted annililation of Jews, Gypsies, Jehovah Witnesses and other religious minorities in Europe; and Mormans Extermination Order in the the U.S. in effect till 5 yrs. after Peace Train came out under Christian oppressors says differently.
