But then a few months later Pantera had a #1 record with Far Beyond Driven and then they were cast into the spotlight. Phil wasn't ready for that though and he too soon turned to heroin as an escape from the publicity they were getting.

I like what Phil had to say about Kurt, it's very easy and sometimes too easy to pass judgement on someone when you don't understand what their going through. None of his truly know what Kurt was going through and never will, we have our theories but that's about it
