In the 1980s and 1990s, HELLION headlined many clubs and also served as a popular opening act at arenas with bands such as WHITESNAKE, SLAYER, EXODUS, and DIO. HELLION also played the MONSTERS OF ROCK festival in Moscow in 1991. HELLION was the first US act to tour in the former-Soviet Union (USSR).
