Chris, the etymology of Friday does come from Frigg as opposed to Freya, at least coming out of old norse. You're not wrong to make your association though. Frigg and Freya were blended in the not so distant past. There are mentions of goddesses named Friya and Freo which are thought to be the same entities. I think their names are less important than the meaning. Freya is usually translated as "Lady" and Frey as "Lord" but their names are more related to our modern word "Free." Freedom what separated lords from servants.

I was referring to how he said that Oktoberfest is not in September. I'm aware that it is in October, as well as in September.

more like the beer has to flow again, or should flow again, "zal" = should, i know this because the german equilivent to zal is soll which means should

False.... Dutch (like me) might be very special (totally not being selfish or anything :P), but the finishing touch is BEER!!! :D
