Correction their first studia album release came out titled Veneance. They later retitled it Vengeance Rising.

they formed in 1985 under the name vengeance.. but because that name was already in use they put 'rising' after it later.. some of the human sacrifice albums only got the logo Vengeance without rising...they put out a demo in 1988 under the name vengeance

@BOUKEBANDSTRA You are correct that they are the first christian band to play this kind of music, but not the first to be released to the public. That honor goes to Vengeance Rising who formed in 1987 and recorded their first demo in 1988. The first album was released in 1989.

@Smartguy561 this is thrash/speed metal mate... this cd is made of 2 demo's that were made in 1983.. so before vengeance rising ( or vengeance) vengeance has the first album on thier name maybe.. but not the first demo's.. this cd is released in 2009 but the both demo's come from ''83 and ''84... so it is the first christian thrash metal band..

The first christian thrash metal band was Vengeance Rising (Orignally called Vengeance) The first christian thrash metal album was Human sacrifice released in 1988 by Vengeance Rising. This is classic metal not thrash.
