Alongside François Kevorkian, Potoker was among the very few masterminds of the 80s remixing. Many of our favourite 80s groups tried various ideas but most ended up in extended remixes' dead end street, offering very little in favour of then-popular but rather pointless studio-doodling about with their original songs. Potoker's example of Cabaret Voltaire's 12" version of "Sensoria" or this one he did for Heaven 17, continue to stand the test of time - giving the originals a deserved timeless, modern dancefloor brush that still wipes, both their contemporaries and current competition, off of the dancefloor. This is how a dynamic 80s classic remix should sound.

Potoker mix? What did he do...sit and listen to it? Apart from the inane stuttering backing vocals at 4:50, it's hardly any different
